Today, North American Aerospace Defense Command [NORAD] confirmed that a "high-altitude-airborne object" flew over northern Canada; however, the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, after speaking with Joe Biden, who is the United States President, asked the United States Air Force to down the Chinese reconnaissance balloon over Canadian airspace.
With the help of United States military, the Canadians secured the crash site, retrieving intelligence.
