Three men charged after shootout with Kansas City, Kansas police and the FBI.
November 13, 2017 (WILD N’ KRAZY)—Three men are facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a police officer, after they were wounded in a shootout with Kansas City, Kansas police and the FBI.
According to police, 32-year old, Jason Trevillion, 27-year-old, Ernest Jones, and 25-year-old, Arthur Mitchell, opened fire at a coalition of police officers within the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, when the FBI attempted to pull them over in the 1300 block of Haskell Avenue around 10:15 p.m. on November 6th.
Multiple police officers opened fire on the car, hitting all three men, causing all-three men to suffer non-life-threatening injuries. According to police, zero officers injured during the shootout.
Mitchell and Trevillion also charged with criminal possession of a firearm by a felon.
